Art Walk (2024)

On walks in my neighborhood, I noticed a few small, abstract paintings attached to signposts, unsigned, and seemingly unnoticed by many people. I wondered how many there were and where they were and decided to use my frequent walks in the neighborhood to try to find out. All of the walks started and ended at my home. Curiously though, my focus soon shifted to the walks themselves and their role in my ever-expanding exploration of this place I call home. And when it came to the images I was starting to think about creating, they too were about the walks, the walking, with only indirect nods to the paintings I found.
